For the first time popular TV actress Ahona performed against popular actor Chanchal Chowdhury in a drama serial.
Directed by Sanjit Sarkar they first performed together as a pair in a serial titled Mama Barir Abdar.
Sanjit Sarkar has also written story of the serial. Earlier Chanchal and Ahona performed only two plays together.
While talking about his performance in the serial actor Chanchal Chowdhury told this correspondent, “Story of the serial was really nice. Sanjit has also given its direction nicely and properly. He works in organised way. For the first time, I worked against Ahona in this serial. She is really a good actress. I enjoyed to work against her in this serial.”
Ahona doesn’t like to work in drama serial most of the time. She wants to work either one or two good serials. Basically she liked the story of the serial Mama Barir Abdar. For this reason, Ahona agreed to work in the serial.
Ahona said, “I have worked against Chanchal Bhai for the first time. We have tried our level best to express our roles in the serial properly with the cooperation by director Sanjit Sarkarda.”
Comedy story based serial Mama Barir Abdar, which is being telecasted now on RTV at 8:20pm every Saturday and Sunday, has already received positive responses from the viewers. If it continues director Sanjit will increase its episode number later, he said.
Title song of the serial was rendered by Nokul Kumar Biswas, which also became popular to all. Chanchal Chowdhury again came into limelight to perform as a model in a TV commercial of Danish Condensed Milk under Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s direction.
Recently he also performed as a model in two TVCs of Aristocrats under the theme given by Brindaband Das.
End of May Chanchal will start to work in Amitabh Reza’s movie Aynabaji.
From April 26 Chanchal’s acted and Sajjad Sumon’s directed a serial titled Nonstop will go on air on Banglavision, Chanchal said.
