On the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day, play directors have already started to make special plays. Popular TV actress Ahona Rahman and Tawsif Mahbub worked together as a pair in a special play titled Dhaka Metro Love. Mehedi Hasan has scripted and gave direction of the play.
While talking about the play Ahona informed that there is a proverb like ‘cheap and nasty.’ Main theme of story of the play is like that. Story of the play revolves with this proverb.
In the play, Ahona and Tawsif acted in roles of Chumki and Rabbi respectively. Ahona said, “This play is appropriate for coming Valentine’s Day. Earlier I worked with Tawsif in a play. He is a very much co-operative actor. We tried our level best to portray our roles regarding proper presentation of the story in this play. I believe this play will be enjoyable for the viewers.”
Tawsif shared his feelings by this way, “It was my second work with Ahona. Both of us tried our level best while acting in the play. I believe it has become a nice work. Story of this play is absolutely different from other contemporary story based plays. Viewers will get something new in this play. It is no doubt Ahona is a good actress and she tries to realize properly her role before acting. I am very much optimistic about this play.”
Director Mehedi informed that this play will be telecast in a satellite channel on Valentine’s Day of 2019.
Meanwhile, Ahona is now staying in Mymensingh for taking part in shooting of a serial. She will return to Dhaka soon. Ahona acted last released movie was PA Kajol’s Chokher Dekha.
On the other hand, Tawsif Mahbub yet not seen in the big screen. He is busy with acting in TV plays and serials now. Today he will be engaged with Safa Kabir in shooting for a TV play, he also said.
