First death anniversary of National Film Award winner lyricist, music director and freedom fighter Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul was January 22. Lyricist Prosenjit Ojha took an initiative to mark the day. Before demise of Bulbul one year ago, he composed four songs of Ojha. Parvin Akhter Lotus lent her vocal for these songs. Comprising these songs an album Meghla Mon was prepared. Cover of the album was unveiled at a function held at Biswa Sahittya Kendra on January 24 where Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul was remembered.
Legendary singer Syed Abdul Hadi was present as the chief guest, while noted music director Farid Ahmed, noted Nazrul researcher Salauddin Ahmed, poet and researcher Tapan Bagchi, music composer Sumon Kallyan, singers Sandipan, Ajoy Mitra, Prosenjit Ojha, among others, were present in the programme.
