An agreement between The Essential Electronic Agricultural Library (TEEAL), a non-profitable project of Cornell University and eight Universities of Bangladesh was signed at UGC auditorium recently. UGC Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan was present as Chief Guest.
The universities which signed the agreement included Rajshahi University, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Khulna University, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Chittagong Veterenary and Animal Sciences University and Sylhet Agricultural University.
Under the agreement, TEEAL will supply E-recources (325 Reference Journals and 4,29,000+ Full Text Articles) to the Agriculture and Fisheries related disciplines of the universities.
Students and the teachers of the universities signed will be immensely benifetted by using these e-resources free of cost.
