All transactions of Agrani Bank including transfer of money from the bank’s account to bKash account and vice versa can now be done in bKash. As a result, banking transactions have become easier, safer, time and cost effective for more than one crore customers of the bank across the country.
State-owned commercial bank Agrani Bank Limited and the mobile financial service provider bKash have jointly launched for the first time this two-way service (Money Transfer from Agrani to bKash and bKash to Agrani Bank).
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Saturday inaugurated the service through a virtual event. Md. Asadul Islam, Senior Secretary, Department of Financial Institutions of Finance Ministry, Dr. Zayed Bakht, Chairman of Agrani Bank Limited and Ahmed Jamal, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank was present as a special guest. Mohammad Shams-ul Islam, MD and CEO of Agrani Bank, Kamal Qadir, CEO, Mizanur Rashid, Chief Commercial Officer of of bKash and Directors of the bank were also present, said a press release.
Under the newly launched services, customers of the bank can add their bank information to the bKash app simply in few steps and do their necessary transaction at day and night (24/7) without coming to bank premises. Moreover, customer can get Tk 100 cash back if they do transaction of more than Tk. 500.
