Agrani Bank Training Institute inaugurated a 3-day long training workshop on “Risk Based Internal Audit, Cyber Audit and Web based Audit Report Software Management” recently, said a press release.
Md. Ashiqul Hoque Chawdhury, Director, Board of Directors of Agrani Bank Limited and Chairman, Audit Committee Inaugurated the workshop as chief guest, while Mohammad Shams-Ul-Islam, MD and CEO, ABL was present as guest of honor.
Md. Monowar Hossain, FCA, GM and Head of ICC was present as a special guest on the occasion.
In his inaugural speech, Md. Ashiqul Hoque Chawdhury expressed his concern about the need and importance of Risk Based Internal Audit, Cyber Audit and Web based Audit Report Software Management.
He also said that auditors always play a vital role in safeguarding the interest of the bank by discharging their duties honestly and prudently.
Mohammad Shams-Ul-Islam, MD and CEO, ABL, in his speech said that the auditors would act as watchdogs of the bank.
He also reminded that while auditing the branch, their duty is not to find fault of the branch people but to help make correction of the irregularities on the spot, and also give necessary instructions to do their works as per banking laws, rules and regulations.
