Md. Rafiqul Islam has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director and joined state-owned Agrani Bank Limited. Prior, he has served as General Manager of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB). He joined ICB as a Senior Officer in 1988. He served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ICB Asset Management Company Limited, Branch head of ICB Rajshahi and Barisal branch, Head of different divisions during his long career. He also represented ICB in the Board of different listed and non-listed companies. He completed his graduation and post-graduation in Marketing from Dhaka University in the year 1983 and 1984 respectively. Rafiqul borns in 1963 at Mirzapurupazila of Tangail district, said a press release.
Rafiq took part in different trainings, seminars and workshops on securities market, Merchant banking, Laws, Rules and Regulations relating to ICB, Digital Bangladesh & Service Innovation and so on at home.
