As part of the nationwide vaccination programme, the government has fixed the minimum age to receive Covid-19 vaccines at 25 years instead of 18 years. As a result, now the people aged 25 years can register for receiving Covid-19 vaccine.
Director General of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam said this at a press briefing held at the conference room of Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) on Friday (August 6).
He said those who have registered before will be vaccinated at the centers where they have been assigned. Campaign vaccinations will be conducted separately.
