Director of the Aga Khan Academy Ray Zinsli called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman on Tuesday.
Ray Zinsli was accompanied by Faizol Musa, Regional Development Manager of the Aga Khan Academy, said a DU press release. DU Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad, DU Science Faculty Dean Prof Dr Tofail Ahmad Chowdhury, DU Engineering and Technology Faculty Dean Prof Dr Md Hasanuzzaman and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts Prof Dr Bhishmadeb Choudhury were present on the occasion.
During the meeting, the delegation members requested the DU authorities to give opportunities to their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma holders to take part in admission test of First Year Honors Courses. Akhtaruzzaman assured the delegates that after evaluating of academic standard of IB Diploma Programme of the Aga Khan Academy and then taking necessary step in this regard.
