Kazi M Mahbub Afzal split points with Dahale Atul of India while Abul Kashem lost to Soham Datar of India in the 5th round games of the 10th Chennai Open International Grandmasters Chess tournament now being held in Chennai, India.
After the 5th round, Afzal earned 2.5 points while Abul Kashem bagged 1.5 points out 5 games held Sunday.
A total of 267 players from 22 countries including 16 grandmasters, 19 International Masters and 2 Women International Masters are participating in the event.
