Bangladesh Ain Samity has formed its new committee.
Veteran lawyer Afzal ul Munir has been elected its President and Dhaka District Police Superintendent Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman Al Mamun as General Secretary in the 49 members committee.
The committee was formed in a conference held on Friday at Quazi Motahar Hossain Building premises.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain was the chief guest at the conference. Justice of the Supreme Court Mirza Hossain Haider was present as special guest. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the conference.
Association President Adv. Md. Kamruzzaman Ansari presided over the programme.
Convener of the Conference Preparation Committee Adv. Mullah Md. Abu Kawser, the judges of Supreme Court of Bangladesh, Secretaries from different ministries, district judges and lawyers were present.
