Promising play director Sheikh Runa has been passing days on bed at hospital now.
On September 8 while returning to Dhaka from Sirajganj she was critically injured in a road mishap. Among 12 out of 14 persons of that microbus were killed in that accident. Fortunately Runa was saved.
Now Runa is taking treatment at a private hospital in the city’s Uttara area. While this correspondent met her she busted into tear and said, “I was returning to Dhaka with having some plans. I couldn’t imagine I would face such a fatal accident. I am grateful to director Kamruzzaman Sagor for his instant cooperation. Everybody pray for me as I can recover soon and will be able give direction again.”
