On the occasion of Pahela Boishakh to telecast on Bangladesh Television, a special programme titled Boishakhi Alapon has been made recently which is to be hosted by noted actress and director Afsana Mimi.
By this programme after a long time Mimi has returned to BTV. Under the planning of Director General of BTV Harun-ur-Rashid and produced by Mahfuzar Rahman Boishakhi Alapon will be aired on April 14 at 6:35pm.
Actress Sharmily Ahmed, Farida Parvin, Azizul Hakim, Fazlur Rahman Babu, poet Tarik Sujat and singer Konal. Its recording was done on April 10 night.
While talking about the programme Afsana Mimi told this correspondent, “I always feel comfortable to host any show. I really enjoy hosting this programme for BTV. After a long time I hosted any programme. In fact, during shooting we took part in open discussion, shared and recalled old memories. Overall it became a nice programme as a whole.”
It is noted that many years ago, Afsana Mimi hosted a programme titled Rongin Phuler Khonjey for the disadvantaged children. Later she hosted another show on Rtv titled Jibon Chorcha.
Mimi hosted most popular show was Banglavision’s Moner Kotha.
