Afif gets CPL gig

Bangladesh’s young all-rounder Afif Hossain gets a chance to shine in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) as St Kits and Nevis acquired him from the draft on Wednesday.
The 19 years old Afif Hossain showed his immense pleasure to get into the franchise league.
 ” I feel really good to get in to CPL. I am really excited about playing there. I just spoke with Flethcer few moments ago. I am very thrilled about this great opportunity. ” Afif told Cricfrenzy.
Afif was in from in last year’s BPL. He played for the Sylhet Sixers. He scored 248 runs for them. Afif has played 30 T20 match in his career so far and in those matches he has an average of 20.66 with strike rate of 123.24.
He has accumulated total 509 runs in his T20 career with two half centuries. In his CPL team ST Kits he will share the dressing room with players like Carlos Brathwaite, Evin Lewis and Isuru Udana .
In bidding there are other 18 Bangladeshi players. They are : Taskin Ahmed, Shakib Al Hasan, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Liton Das, Zakir Hasan, Ariful Haque, Zubair Hossain Likhon, Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Mohammad Mithun, Sabbir Rahman, Mushfiqur Rahim, Abul Hasan Raju, Mahmudullah Riad, Abu Haidar Rony, Mohammad Sharif Uddin and Mohammad Saifuddin. 536 players have been drafted in this yera’s CPL edition from different countries, which has been a new record.
CPL seventh edition will start from September 4 and continue up to 12 October.
