Afghanistan Cricket team will tour Bangladesh in next year’s February to play three-match One Day International (ODI) series and two-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Bangladesh in February-March. Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) finalized the fixture on Tuesday.
The cricketers of Bangladesh National Cricket team will be busy next year. After completing the two-Test series in New Zealand in January, the players will play in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket. After finishing the BPL, the players of Bangladesh will not get rest. They will play three ODIs and two T20Is against Afghanistan at home. After three years, Afghanistan Cricket team will arrive here. The Afghanistan Cricket team came Bangladesh in 2019. They played a Test match against Bangladesh. Besides, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe took part in a Tri-Nation ODI Tournament.
Bangladesh will return to play ODI matches after a long time. They played an ODI series against Zimbabwe in last July. After seven months, Bangladesh will play against Afghanistan in ICC ODI World Cup Super League matches.
Though Bangladesh’s ranking in Test cricket is not up to the mark, according to the latest ICC ranking. But Bangladesh have taken the seventh spot in the latest ICC ODI ranking.
