Afghanistan Cricket team in Sylhet

Afghanistan Cricket team reached Sylhet on Sunday to take part in their seven-day conditioning camp at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Earlier, Afghanistan Cricket team arrived in Dhaka on Saturday to play three One Day International (ODI) matches and two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The touring Afghan cricketers will take part in the conditioning camp from today to February 18. Afghan star cricketer Rashid Khan could not participate in the conditioning camp as he is now playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He will play in the PSL until February 19. He is scheduled to reach Bangladesh on February 20.
Besides, a good number cricketers are playing in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket. After finishing the BPL, the Afghan cricketers will join the main squad. The Afghan cricketers will play an intra-squad match in Sylhet. Then, they will go to Chattogram to play the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh Cricket team. Bangladesh team will take on Afghanistan in the first ODI at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on February 23. Bangladesh will face Afghanistan in the second ODI at the same venue on February 25. Bangladesh will meet Afghanistan in the third ODI at the same venue on February 28. All the ODI matches will start at 11.00am. After completing the ODI campaign, Bangladesh team and Afghanistan team will play two-match T20I series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. The hosts will take on tourists in the first T20I on March 3. The home side will face the visitors in the second T20I on March 5. All the matches will begin at 3.00pm.
