An advocacy meeting on Tuberculosis was held with the imams at the Lalmonirhat Barta office on Sunday organized by the district branch of the National Anti-Tuberculosis Association Of Bangladesh (Natab).
The chief guest was Dr. Sirajul Islam, the Superintend of the 100-bed Sadar Hospital presided over District Committee President Guerrilla Leader. Dr. SM Shafiqul Islam Kanu, Speakers were Dr. Bipul Chandra Roy, Master Trainer of Islamic Foundation Maulana Maruf Hassan, Khatib of Central Jame Mosque Maulana Atiqur Rahman and others.
30 Khatibs and Imams of different mosques of Sadar Upazila took part in it. The speakers said that the main symptoms of coughing for two weeks or more in a row. In the country including government hospitals and various clinics have free TB treatment facilities.
