Advocacy meet held to make people aware of Dengue

The authority of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Communicable Disease Control (CDC) unit of Health Division organised an advocacy meeting in a bid to build awareness among the people in preventing Aedes and Culex mosquito.
The meeting was held on Thursday at DNCC’s regional office at Moahakhali, said a press release.The meeting was held in a bid to engage the people from all strata of life in the campaign for preventing the Aedes and Culex mosquito and for making people aware of the disease.
Surveillance medical officer of CDC Dr Khadija Sultana gave a presentation in the meeting showing the overall situation of Dengue across the world.
Chief Health Officer Brigadier General Md Mominur Rahman Mamun, Sarwar deputy chief health officer of DNCC Lieutenant Colonel Md Golam Mostafa , councilors and teachers, among others, attended the meeting with Zonal Executive Officer Mir Nahid Ahsan in the chair.
