Speakers at a discussion meeting here on Tuesday said that experienced retired school teachers can play important roles by giving suggestions to their junior teachers for improving school-level teaching-learning process and ensuring quality education for the students.
“Advices from the retired experts school teachers are very necessary for making our school-level teaching -learning networks more effective and spreading quality education among the school students to groom up them as worthy citizens of the country”, they said.
Netrakona Datta High School organised the meeting at the School Conference Room in connection with a farewell given to two retired teachers-Abul Hashim and Abdur Razzak of the school. In the farewell, retired school teacher-Abul Hashim was given bank cheque of taka 4,42,365 and the retired teacher Abdur Razzak was given bank cheque of taka 3,92,700 by the school authority from the school welfare fund.
President of the school Governing Body and also Vice President of Awami League Netrakona District Unit Habibur Rahman Khan Rotan addressed the meeting as chief guest while headmaster of the school ABM Shajahan Kabir was in the chair.
The meeting was addressed, among others, by assistant headmaster of the school Mojibur Rahman and assistant teachers Nolini Kanti Sarker and Salina Parvin and school students -Ahidullah Roni and Nuhana Kanam Lamia.
