Adv Abdul Mobin dies Khaleda shocked

Advocate Abdul Mobin, a senior leader of the BNP-led 20-party alliance and Chairman of Bangladesh Islamic Party, died on Wednesday afternoon at Labaid Hospital in the city at the age of 63. He was
admitted to the hospital on May 1 after he suffered brain stroke. Islamic Party’s organising secretary Mahmudul Hasan said, Advocate Mobin suffered a brain stroke on April 29. Following the day, he was admitted to city’s Monowara Hospital. Later, he was taken to the Labaid Hospital. He left behind his wife, five sons, daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
His first Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Baitul Mokarram National Mosque after Esha prayers yesterday. Leaders of the 20-party alliance joined the Janaza. He will be buried at the family graveyard at his native village– Khosbas under Barura upazila of Comilla after second Namaz-e-Janaza after Zohr prayers today (Thursday).
BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia expressed deep shock at the death of the 20-party leader. In a statement, she prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family. She also recalled the contribution of Advocate Mobin in the politics.
The Islamic Party also expressed deep shock at the death of the party chief. Its leaders urged all to pray for the departed soul of Abdul Mobin.
