A review meeting of the annual development programme (ADP) of the Ministry of Information for the fiscal 2013-14 was held in the conference room of the ministry here Sunday.
The meeting discussed the progress of all the 11 projects, including construction of Information Bhaban, being implemented under the programme.
The projects included construction of headquarters of Bangladesh Television (BTV), modernization of BTV Chittagong centre, modernization and digitization of medium wave transmitter of Bangladesh Betar (BB), setting up two 10-kilowatt FM centres for BB, construction of Bangladesh Film Archive building, extension and digitization of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC), 4th phase implementation of Child and Women Development Communication Programme and training of journalists by Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) on enhancing healthcare facilities.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu chaired the meeting participated by high officials and organization and agency chiefs under the ministry. Information Secretary Martuza Ahmed moderated it.
