Adeloscent gangs have become much more adamant in Khulna. They are committing different crimes including murder, snatching and sexual harassment at random.
Recently, some killings, rape and chaos and confusion were committed by the adeloscent and youth gangs at different places in the city and upazila areas of Khulna district.
13 youths of an adeloscent gang were arrested by a special team of Rab – 6 on November 7, 2021 ( Sunday) from different parts of Khulna city. Commanding Officer (CO) of Rab – 6 Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Mostak Ahmed ascertained this matter to the journalists at a Press briefing, held at Rab – 6, Khulna Headquarters on Monday (November 8 , 2021 ).
Mentionable here that the Mastermind of sensational Hridoy murder case in Khulna was arrested . His name is Abul Kalam Biswas alias Kalu Biswas.
Abul Kalam Biswas alias Kalu Biswas, the mastermind of killing school student Hridoy in Khulna was arrested by the police from Abhoynagar area of Jashore district. He is also the father of 1 number accused Kamran of the murder case filed with Daulatpur police station in Khulna city.
Kalam was placed before the Metropolitan Magistrate Shahidul Islam for praying 7 days remand while the learned Magistrate granted 2 days remand to Kalam, resident of Pabla Karigorpara under Daulatpur police station in Khulna city.
Sayed Mosharaf Hossain, OC (Investigation) of Daulatpur police station who is also the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case said, according to the confessional statment of the accused persons who were arrested earlier, Kalam Biswas was arrested with a view to arrest unnamed accused persons.
It is also mentionable here that Reazul Islam Hridoy was killed brutally within 24 to 28 August. Later, on that evening his deadbody was found near fish enclosure of Mahatab at Pabla Karigorpara area. Local people informed the police and police rushed to the spot and recovered the deadbody hidden under hyacinth.
