Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim said the adolescent friendly health care services programme will be extended to 30 districts in next five years.
“Adolescent friendly health care service programme to be extended under the Health and Family Welfare Ministry at 30 districts in next five years,” the minister said this on Sunday while responding to a query placed by treasury bench lawmaker of women seat-34 Mrs Amina Ahmed in the house.
He said the Health and Family Welfare Minister has launched adolescent friendly health care service programme corner at 11 districts under School Health and Adolescent Health Programme for providing adolescent women health services.
Identifying the adolescent pregnant women as ‘risky pregnant’, Nasim said all the health care organizations are providing health care services to the risky adolescent pregnant mothers with due importance.
