The admission tests from class five to class nine in 9 government high schools in the city will begin from December 21 next.
The admission seekers can apply for the admission test at a cost of TK 150 through the mobile operator Taletalk from November 25 to December 10 next, said Habibur Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) of Chittagong.
The date may be shifted on December 26 if Higher Secondary Directorate (DG) offices change the date of December 26 instead of Dec 21, sources said.. The district administration is taking preparation aiming two dates and waiting for the direction of DG office, he said.
The office of district administration also decided to raise 62 seats this year from 3,556 seats last year.
The schools are- Chittagong Collegiate School, Dr Khastagir Govt. Girls’ High School, Govt. Muslim High School, Chittagong Govt. Girls’ High School, Chittagong Govt. High School, Nasirabad Govt. Boys’ High School, Bakalia Govt. Laboratory Boys’ High School, Hazi Mohammad Mohsin Govt. High School and Chittagong Govt. City Girls’ High School.
