The admission in the city’s reputed schools will start soon in this month to avert any untoward situation ahead of 11th National Parliamentary Election.
The final examinations of the primary to junior secondary schools will be held at least one month ahead of the fixed date, while the results will also be published as early as possible.
The authorities of the schools said that they were taking preparation to publish the notices for the admission’s application in different classes.
Dr Umme Salma, Principal of Udayan School and College, said, the school will receive applications for admission from October 30 and will continue till November 6.
“We have taken the decision considering the national polls’ environment. We would like to complete our admission before the election,” she said.
The circular offering the admission application will be published by this week, the principal said.
Viqarunnisa Noon School and College will start its admission process from October 10. It usually starts the admission activities from October 25 every year. The applicants could apply for admission till October 28.
The admission in the Class I will be held on lottery. Admission from Class II to Class VIII will start after the final examination.
A Governing Body Member of the institution said, they have taken a decision to publish the final results on December 17.
