The ad mission test for Class-V and Class-VIII in the nine govt secondary schools in the port city began yesterday .
The first phase admission test for primary students(Class-V) and Class-VIII was held from 10am and 1 pm respectively. The second phase admission tests for Class-VI and Class-VII will be held on December 23 .
Sources said there are 3,574 applicants for admission tests from Class-V to Class VIII against the total admission capacity of 3574 seats. Meanwhile 9346 admission seekers for Class-V appeared yesterday morning against seat capacity of 1,960 in nine govt schools.
