Law Minister Advocate Anisul Huq on Wednesday met with the Acting Chief Justice Md Abdul Wahhab Miah.
After the meeting, the Law Minister told the journalists that they have discussed about some administrative changes in the Judiciary.
In response to a query the Minister said that he had also talked on the issue of formulating discipline of the lower court judges with the Acting Chief Justice.
The meeting was held from 3.00 pm to 3.40 pm. This was the second meeting between them after Justice Wahhab Miah took the charge of the Chief Justice on October 3 in 2017.
Anisul Huq said that the government side will sit in meeting with the Appellate Division’s Judges about formulating discipline of the lower court judges. He hoped that a solution will come out.
He said that they consider appointing judges in both the divisions of the Supreme Court.
