Speakers at a seminar have stressed for adequately financing the women entrepreneurs through resolving the prevailing problems for their smooth development to further speed up economic advancement.
They put importance on taking more time-befitting initiatives by the banks in searching for real women entrepreneurs to provide assistance in flourishing their enterprises to ensure their enhanced participation in trade, commerce and business.
Rangpur Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RWCCI) organised the seminar styled ‘Prospect in Financing Women Entrepreneurs and Problems’ on Wednesday at the auditorium of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) in the city.
General Manager of Rangpur Branch of Bangladesh Bank (BB) Md. Khurshid Alam attended the seminar as the chief guest with President of RWCCI Anwara Ferdousi Poly in the chair.
Former Vice-president of FBCCI and its former Director Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu, Director of FBCCI and former RCCI President Mosaddek Hossain Bablu, President of RCCI Abul Kashem, its Senior Vice-president Mostafa Ahamed and Vice-president Mozammel Haque Dambel addressed as special guests.
