Contractor shot dead in city

Staff Reporter :Assailants shot a construction contractor to death in the city’s Mohakhali area on Saturday night.The deceased was identified as Nasir, 48, hailed from Ghoshairhat upazila of Shariatpur district. He lived in Dakshinkhan area of the capital.Police recovered the body from in front of the Boro Masjid in Mohakhali Dakshin para area on Sunday morning.Banani Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC, Investigation) Md Borhan Uddin, said that Nasir was a contractor.
