The government has appointed additional secretary of the ministry of industries Begum Porag as the chairman of Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation (BSFIC). She was assigned for the duty via an office order on March 11, by the ministry of industries, an official release said on Wednesday. She will act as the chairman of BSFIC as an additional duty of hers. Begum Porag joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) 5th batch, in January 21, 1986 as an Admin Cadre.
