A kishoreganj Court sentenced a young man named Saddam Hussein Nayeem (27) to life imprisonment for killing his mother in Bajitpur upazila of kishoreganj.
At a time,he accused has been fined tk.20,000 and sentenced to 6 months imprisonment.
The Senior District & Session Judge of kishoreganj,MD.Saidur Rahman on Wednesday noon announced the verdict .
Acting Public Prosecutor (PP) in kishoreganj Advocate Abu Sayeed Imam conformed the verdict.
According to Case Diary (CD) , Accused Nayeem was addicted to drugs,he always misbehave with his family members for long time for drug money.
He also used to vandalize the household items. Family members could not control him at all.
On August,01,2018, the mother demanded money from Rehena Khatun ,70 years old for intoxication.She could not play the money. Nayeem entered the house,tied his mother hands and feet and killed by cutting her throat with a sharp weapon .
Father Nurul Islam filed a murderer case against his son with Bajitpur Police Station in this connection.
The Investigation Officer ,Sub –Inspactor Shamsul Kabir submitted charge -sheet to the Court after investigation.
