Director of Human Resource and Social Development of Asian Development Bank (ADB) Sungsup Ra lauded the progress of education sector of Bangladesh.
He made the comment when a four-member delegation led by him called on Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid at the latter’s office on Sunday, an official release said.
Senior officials of the Education Ministry and ADB, among others, were present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing projects of ADB in Bangladesh and expansion of its support for promoting technical education in the country.
Nahid thanked cooperation of ADB for expansion of education across Bangladesh and hoped this kind of assistance would be enhanced further.
