A team of Asian Development Bank (ADB) made a courtesy visit to Jahangirangar University (JU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Farzana Islam at the university administrative office recently.
The 4-member delegate led by Eisuke Tajima, Senior Specialist of Human and Social development of South Asia Chapter included Ryotaro Hayashi, Bidhan Baruya and Bidyut Kumat Saha.
On the meet, Eisuke Tajima expressed interest to build an IT based infrastructure at the university campus. He said, JU and ADB would work together to ensure skilled manpower for the Hi-tech Park at Kaliakoir.
Among others, Pro-VC Prof Abul Hossain, Treasurer Abul Khair and teachers of Institute of Information Technology were present on the occasion.
