The government and Asian Development Bank (ADB) Thursday jointly reviewed ADB-assisted projects of Bangladesh to further improve development results.
Mohammed Abu Taher Additional Secretary, Economic Relations Division of the Ministry of Finance, and Kazuhiko Higuchi, ADB Country Director for Bangladesh co-chaired the meeting.
Senior government officials, project directors, and ADB staff members from its headquarters and the Bangladesh Resident Mission participated in the review, said an ADB press release.
“The tripartite portfolio review is a regular exercise to highlight key issues and to agree on critical actions to enhance performance and achieve results,” said Kazuhiko Higuchi.
