Bogra’s Adamdighi Upazila Awami League conference is going to be held after eight years. Municipal and union committees are being reconstituted from the Trinamool level in phases. If all are well, the tri-annual conference of Adamdighi Upazila Awami League will be held on Saturday, December 5.
After a long time, the vibrancy has returned among the Awami League leaders, activists and supporters. According to the sources of Adamdighi Upazila Awami League, the last conference of Upazila Awami League was held on 12 December 2012. At the conference, the late Anshar Ali Mridha was elected president and Sirajul Islam Khan Raju was elected general secretary. Advocate Kudrat-e-Elahi Kajal has been the acting President of Kajal Upazila Awami League since the death of Anshar Ali Mridha on July 25, 2016.
