Ad-din Hospital is distributing oxygen cylinders and other emergency covid treatment equipment among the patients and healthcare facilities to cope with the disaster of the pandemic.
Ad-din has distributed covid-19 treatment equipment including a good number of high flow nasal cannulas, bipap machines, pulse oximeter, oxygen cylinder, face shield, N-95 mask and other products among hospitals and individuals.
Sources from the privately managed hospital said, it has offered oxygen assistance to the poor and the needy patients within the range of 20 kilometers from its depots in Khulna division.
About 300 oxygen cylinders are in Jessore Sadar, Satkhira Sadar, Khulna Sadar, Katakhali of Bagerhat, Kushtia Sadar, Bheramara Allah’r Dargah in Kushtia district, Chuadanga Sadar and Magura Sadar depots.

Trained workers are always ready with oxygen cylinders
Ad-din has donated five high flow nasal cannulas, one sipap-bypap high flow nasal cannula, one bypap machine, four ICU patient monitors and 20 syringe pumps to the 250-bed Jessore General Hospital recently.
Dr. Akhtaruzzaman, Superintendent of Jessore General Hospital, Abul Hasnat Md. Ahsan Habib, the chief of the ICU department of the hospital, attended the programme.
Dr. Salah Uddin, Director of Ad-din Sakina Medical College and Dr. Shila Poddar, Deputy Director of Jessore Ad-din Hospital, among others was present.
The hospital also gave five high-flow nasal cannulas, one bypap machine and five oxygen cylinders to Khulna 250-bed General hospital.
Khulna Division Health Director Dr. Rasheda Sultana, Civil Surgeon Dr. Niaz Mohammad and Md. Hossain Ali, Manager, Ad-din Akij Medical College Hospital were present.
Ad-din has also donated two sipap-bypap high flow nasal cannulas to the Kushtia 250-bed General Hospital recently.
Kushtia Medical College Hospital Principal Prof. Deldar Hossain, Kushtia Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Ataur Rahman Ata, Kushtia General Hospital Superintendent Dr. MA Momen and other Ad-din officials were present.
Professor Dr. Nahid Yasmin, Director General of the Ad-din hospital group, said, “We are working boldly to cope with the corona pandemic to the best of our ability.”
“Trained workers of Ad-din welfare centers are rendering services from door to door of the covid patients within its range,” the DG said.
