Popular TV actress and anchor Tazin Ahmed was buried on her father’s grave at Banani graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza held at Azad mosque in Gulshan after Zohr prayers on Wednesday.
Before burial, the body of Tazin was taken to Anandabari Shooting House and kept her there till 12 noon for showing last tributes to the TV artist.
Earlier, Tazin Ahmed died of cardiac arrest at a city hospital on Monday at the age of 43.
She is survived by mother and a host of relatives and admirers.
In a message of condolence, Group Theater Federation Chairman Liaqat Ali Lucky, its secretary general Kamal Baizid, presidium member and central committee members expressed deep shock at the death of Tazin.
They also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
