Popular film actress Pori Moni was rushed
to a city hospital from the sets of director Aranya Anwar’s latest feature film titled Maa. The actress confirmed the matter. She said,
“I am at the hospital. I have no other updates as of this moment.”
Pori Moni was all set to start her maternity leave after completing the filming of Maa. But on Wednesday morning, she started feeling sick and experienced mild Covid symptoms. When her health deteriorated at midnight, she was admitted to a private hospital in the capital.
Pori Moni’s husband and actor Sariful Raz accompanied her. The couple formally tied the knot at their Banani residence in front of family members, friends and colleagues on January 23. Pori Moni has recently finished shooting of Giasuddin Selim’s Gunin and Chayanika Chowdhury’s Kagojer Bou.
