The condition of renowned Bangla film actor Riaz Uddin Ahmed Siddique has improved, said Jewel Rana, assistant director of the film Krishnapaksha.
Riaz was admitted to Apollo Hospitals in the capital on Monday night following a heart attack.
The actor was taken to the hospital as he suffered a cardiac arrest at about 8:00pm during the shooting of film Krishnopokhkho, which is directed by Meher Afroz Shawon.
The Apollo Hospitals doctors said four block vessels were detected in Riaz’s heart. Doctors installed a coronary stent to one of the heart block through a surgery on Monday night.
Three more stents will be attached to his blocked vessels, said the doctors.
The Hridoyer Ayna star is now kept at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital.
