Noted actor and Vice President of Actors’ Equity Bangladesh, Anisur Rahman Milon lost his wife, Polee Ahmed. His wife passed away around 11:57am, US time.
Polee breathed her last at Kern Medical in California, USA.
She was suffering from cancer for many years and was receiving
treatment in the USA, said Milon.
The actor announced the news of her demise through his official Facebook account.
He wrote: “My wife, Polee Ahmed passed away today at 11:57am in Bakersfield’s Kern Medical, California, US. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.”
Many celebrity actors including Sazu Khadem and Ipshita Shabnam Srabonty, shared their condolences for the loss of Polee Ahmed on social media.
Meanwhile, Rawnak Hasan, General Secretary of Actors’ Equity Bangladesh, also shared the news on Facebook. The actor wrote: “Polee Ahmed, wife of our beloved artiste and honourable Vice President, passed away at 11:57am American time. May her soul rest in peace. She was suffering from cancer for a prolonged period.”
