Noted actor Masum Aziz has been admitted to a hospital in the capital. He was taken to LabAid Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday, confirmed Golam Kuddus, President of Sammilito Sangskritik Jote, yesterday.
Earlier, the actor had faced a bypass surgery in 2017. From then, he was doing well. But, now he is facing old-age complications.
The actor performed on stage, television and film. While studying in Chittagong University, he made his acting debut in theatre. In 1985, he debuted in TV drama.
Masum Aziz has played more than four hundred dramas and notable films since 1985. He got appreciation to work in Humayun Ahmed’s plays. He last gave direction of theatre play titled Trial of Surya Sen.
