Detectives picked up actor Helel Khan from Judge Court area in the old part of Dhaka city Monday afternoon.
Actor Helal Khan is affiliated with Jatiyatabadi Samajik Sangskritik Sangathan (Jasas), the cultural wing of BNP.
Contacted, Assistant Commissioner (Media) of DMP Khairul Islam said a special DB team arrested the actor from the judge court area at about 3:45 pm.
He, however, could not confirm immediately on what charge Helal Khan was arrested by the detectives.
