Actor Abhishek Chatterjee dies

Noted Bengali actor Abhishek Chatterjee died earlier March 24. He was 57. Born on April 30 in 1964, Abhishek Chatterjee graduated from the Seth Anandram Jaipuria College of the University of Calcutta, after finishing his secondary schooling
at the Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School.
The actor was not keeping well for quite some time. However, the exact reason for his death is not known yet. As per reports, Chatterjee was shooting for a show on Wednesday (March 23) and suddenly started feeling unwell. Further reports claim that he vomited on the sets a few times, after which the crew of the show looked after him. However, the actor was not ready to visit the hospital, instead, he went back home. Later, his family members called a doctor and medical aid was given to him. However, the actor breathed his last yesterday.
Abhishek Chatterjee stepped into the industry in 1986, when he made his debut with Bengali movie Pothbhola, helmed by Tarun Majumdar. He was seen alongside noted artistes such as Sandhya Roy, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Tapas Paul and Utpal Dutt.
The news of his sudden demise has left the Tollywood industry in deep shock. Soon after the news broke out, his fans and many renowned personalities paid their tributes to the actor.
