Action plan for the ‘National Productivity Master Plan’ will be finalized within December this year aiming to cope with the growing and emerging challenges in the industrial sector.
The information was revealed today at the 19th executive committee meeting of the National Productivity at the Industries Ministry in the city, said a press release.
Industries Secretary Md Abdul Halim presided over the meeting while Additional Secretary of the ministry Lutfun Nahar Begum, Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC) Chairman Md Rois Uddin and Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation (BSFIC) Chairman Sanat Kumar Saha, among others, were present.
The participants of the meeting informed that the draft action plan will be completed within June this year and then it will be finalized after consultation with concerned stakeholders.
Implementation of the National Productivity Master Plan will be started from January 2021 for achieving the desired productivity at all sectors, including industry, service and agriculture.
