ACI to set up Animal Hospital, Lab to identify poultry diseases

The Advance Chemical Industries (ACI) will set up Animal Hospital and diagnosis laboratory to identify the diseases of poultry and shrimp.
The country’s agriculture businesses suffer severe loss for not detecting diseases of poultry and shrimp in time. The proposed diagnosis laboratory will help finding the diseases properly and treatment, opine the speakers at
the ACI annual conference 2017 held in the city on Saturday. Among the private entrepreneurs, the ACI Limited has brought 1.5 crore farmers under way of their different agricultural service including crops care, Animal health, fertilizer and seeds.
The ACI Limited targeted to reach two crore farmers with technology based agricultural product. The annual turn over of the company has increased by 26 percent in 2016, said Dr. FH Ansary, Executive Director (Agribusiness) of the company.
Addressing in annual conference 2017, he disclosed the information.
Motor service chief Subrattay Ranjan Das, Director of Premiaflexs Anisur Rahman, and Chief Strategic Officer of ACI M Saifullah, among others, spoke in the function.
Fertility of agricultural land has been decreasing day by day. On the other hand, the shortage, of meat and milk increased in the country. So, it is necessary to yield high quality seeds, fertilizers and other developed technology for meeting the growing demand, Ansary said.
Half of the population are involved in agriculture, 70 percent of land are now under cultivation of various kind of crops, to attain sufficiency in food.
