The 21st Annual General Meeting of ACI Formulations Limited was held at officers club in the city on Monday. M Anis Ud Dowla, Chairman of the Company, presided over the meeting.
The financial statements together with auditors’ and Directors’ reports of the company for the year ended 30 June 2017 were approved by the shareowners in the meeting. They have also approved 35pc cash dividend for the FY 2016-2017 including 20pc cash paid as interim dividend.
Shusmita Anis, Managing Director, appraised the shareowners on the overall performance of the Company. She mentioned that, Crop Care and Public Health business grew significantly during the year under review despite all the challenges of excessive rainfall and flooding. Toll-manufacturing of the products of world’s renowned SC Johnson & Son and Akzo Nobel have been continued successfully.
ACI Formulations is closely working with the Government’s A2i project, NGOs and donor agencies to access the farmers in remote areas in educating them on modern agronomic practices for increased yield of their crops, she added.
