Ace Tex and Dhaka Indian won their respective matches of the Raman Lamba Twenty20 Cricket Tournament on Friday.
In the day’s first match, Ace Tex beat Sri Lanka Cricket Club by 31 runs at the City Club Ground in Mirpur.
Sent into bat first, Ace Tex made 190 for the loss of six wickets in the regulation 20 overs and then they restricted Sri Lanka Cricket Club to 159 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs.
Ratan of Ace Tex was adjudged the Man of the Match.
In the day’s other match, Dhaka Indian crushed American Efrid Limited by 101 runs.
Electing to bat first, Dhaka Indian scored 196 for the loss of five wickets in 16 overs (Four overs were curtailed due to delay start) and then they dismissed American Efrid Limited for 95 off 13.3 overs.
Hettik Prokash of Dhaka Indian was adjudged the Man of the Match.
The first semifinal will be held between Dhaka Indian and Bangla Trac on March 7 at the City Club Ground in Mirpur while the second semifinal will be held between Dhaka Cricketers and Ace Tex on the same day at the same venue.
