An accused in a cheque dishonour case died of a cardiac failure moments after police arrested him at Kadamtoli in South Surma upazila on Wednesday.
Sub-inspector of South Surma Police Station Fazlul Haque said police arrested Priyotos Bhatracharjee,65, a resident of Nayagram village in Moulvibazar district and manager of Jaber & Brothers in Mominkhola area of South Surma upazila, in connection with a cheque dishonour case at about 12:30 pm.
