Access Chess Club maintained their solo lead in the points table with 13 points out of 7 games after the 8th round games in the Marcel First Division Chess League now being held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
In the day’s 8th round game was held on Wednesday, Access Chess Club split points with Sheikh Russel Chess Club by 2-2 points. Saiful Islam Chowdhury, Anustoop Biswas, DEwan Shahidul Amin and Asadul Haq of Access Chess drew accordingly against M Masum Hossain, Showkat Hossain Pollab, M Jamal Uddin and Nayem Haque of Sheikh Russel. In 8th round, Hasan Memorial Chess Club played with Kasparov Chess Club, Agrani Bank Daba Dal played with Mohakhali Pradip Sangah and Basir Memorial Chess Club played with Debdas Biswas Smirity Sangsad.
The 9th or last round games start today (Thursday) from 2pm at same venue.
