The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Bangladesh organized a conference with the accounting and finance teachers from different educational institutions of the Chattogram division.
This Programme was held at Chittagong Club on Friday titled ‘Educators Conference on Future of Learning – Shaping the Accounting Profession’. At least 350 guests, including teachers from different universities and colleges, ACCA members, partners and other stakeholders were also present in the conference.
Four papers were presented in the conference that focused on new information and knowledge about the accounting and finance sector for the economic development. In addition, technological advancement was also highlighted to ensure more proficiency in professional life. Invited guests discussed awareness and guidance on various aspects of the accountancy and finance related work.
Vice-Chancellor of the University of Chittagong Professor Dr. Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury was present as the chief guest while the dean of the faculty of business administration Professor Dr. A.F.M. Aowrangazab was present as the special guest.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Md. AhsanulHoque Bashar, Head of ACCA Bangladesh congratulated and greeted everyone who participated in the conference.
A total of four papers were presented throughout the day. Shun Shing Group Bangladesh Operations CFO and Company Secretary Md. KausarAlam presented the ‘Future of Learning’ paper whileMasud Khan, CEO of Crown Cement presented the ‘Future of Accountancy Profession’ paper.
